In un momento storico come quello che stiamo vivendo, riteniamo importante trasmettere dei segnali relativi alla possibilità e necessità di coltivare il concetto di materiale di riuso, costruendo oggetti da tramandare alle generazioni future. In una fase di continua ricerca abbiamo trovato un materiale che riteniamo unico: la “BRICCOLA” di Venezia.

La RIVA1920 desidera creare dei prodotti impiegando questo materiale naturale avvalendosi della collaborazione di 18 designer e architetti di fama internazionale, realizzando un’importante mostra durante il “Salone del Mobile” di Milano 2010, portandola poi nel mondo.

In a historical context like the one that we are experiencing, we think it essential to transmit some signals concerning the possibility and necessity of cultivating the idea of recycling materials, by manufacturing objects that will be handed down to the future generations. In a phase of continuous research we have found a material that we consider unique: the Venice’s “BRICCOLA”.

RIVA1920’s purpose is of creating some products by using this natural material and by making use of the co-operation of 18 designers and architects of world-wide renown, by arranging an important exhibition during the “Salone del Mobile” fair in Milan 2010, leading it afterwards all over the world.

In historischen Momenten in denen wir leben, halten wir es für wichtig Signale zu setzen mit Wiederverwertung von Materialien und deren Möglichkeit und Notwendigkeit. In unserer ständigen Suche nach dem einzigartigen haben wir die Pfähle aus Venedig (Briccole di Venezia) entdeckt.

RIVA1920 wird sich einsetzen eine wichtige Ausstellung auf dem “Salone del Mobile” in Mailand 2010 zu veranstalten mit Produkten aus diesem natürlichen Material und der Kooperation von 18 Designern und Architekten mit Internationalem Ansehen.
